WHO WE ARE

Dodds Agencies is a Mackay owned and operated foodservice business that has been servicing Mackay and the surrounding regions for 43 years.

In 1978, Phil Dodds started Dodds Agencies as a milk vender and Hans small goods specialist servicing Bowen, Airlie Beach, and the surrounding Island’s.  In 1997, Michael Myers, a key employee for several years came on as a business partner.  In 2000, they expanded to Mackay and together they transformed Dodds Agencies in to one of the largest Mackay locally owned and operated foodservice businesses. Phil and Mick and had a long and fruitful business relationship and in 2021 Mackay local, Heather Butcher, purchased the business.  Heather’s background is in finance and after having sold her previous business in 2020 she was ready for a change and a new challenge.  Heather and her team are committed to building on the legacy that Phil and Mick created.

Dodds Agencies continues to specialise in all thing’s food and dairy for Mackay and the surrounding regions.  Being a 100% locally owned and operated foodservice business, we have dedicated ourselves to providing the highest quality food with even higher standards of service.
